On February 21st, exactly one month ahead of the elections, young Rotterdammers got united!

Venture Café, ROT.Jong, R’damse Nieuwe, and Jong’R – all network organizations for young and entrepreneurial Rotterdammers – collaborated to provide you with a special Election Debate (Verkiezingsdebat).

The party members of the political parties in Rotterdam were present to debate about four subjects concerning young Rotterdamers: housing market, sustainability & environment, entrepreneurship, society & culture. 300 young voters had the opportunity to witness the debate and to talk to the politicians about the matters that concern them as well as the future of their city.

The event was hosted by Rajae El Mouhandiz and Kim Coppes, and present politicians included: Dieke van Groningen (VVD), Lies Roest (GroenLinks), Sven de Langen (CDA), Dennis Tak (PvdA), Ercan Büyükçifçi (NIDA), Faouzi Achbar (DENK), Taylan Cicek (SP), Elene Walgenbach (D66), Tim de Visser (Leefbaar Rotterdam), Ruud van der Velden (Partij voor de Dieren).
