Anand is the Co-Founder and Product Lead of iPermit. He has a background in engineering and design from TU Delft and led a small a manufacturing firm in India before moving to the Netherlands. Anand had experienced the emotional, cultural and the commercial roller coaster of being a knowledge migrant in the EU. Knowing many other expats, he often see how little awareness there is among migrants as well as companies that employ them about legal regulations, and how easily things can go wrong. Using his own personal background and knowledge of design thinking, Anand wants to de-mystify immigration to and within the EU - making legal processes related to migration simple and intuitive. At iPermit, Anand embraces the complexities inherent to the legal industry and connects the dots between product and business. Anand would love to share his experience of how having no background at all in the legal space has helped him create a product that can disrupt the niche of immigration legal services.
