The Women Entrepreneurs in Ukraine Course was initiated by She Exports Program and arranged in February - June 2019 in partnership with Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Ukraine and Noorderwind with financial support of The Netherlands Enterprise Agency of The Ministry of Economic Affairs of the Netherlands.

This project became a partnership based on shared beliefs, a common vision and sincere connection. Our international project team created an accelerator for women entrepreneurs with export potential.

The course included three training modules and a mentoring cycle in February – June 2019 with Dutch and Ukrainian trainers and mentors. 20 women entrepreneurs represented companies from Chernihiv region, Dnipro, Kyiv, Kyiv region, Lviv, Volyn’ region, Ternopil’, and Zaporizhzhia.

The course made impact both on women entrepreneurs and industry associations (NGOs) they lead, namely The Association of Perfumery and Cosmetics of Ukraine, the Association of Furniture Manufacturing of Ukraine which representatives participated in this course, The Tourism Association, New Fashion Zone.

As a results, participants build their capacity and made deals during the project (please see detailed examples and cases in the feedback section of this report).

The project has improved the conditions for bilateral trade between Ukraine and the Netherlands.

On June 7, 2019, the graduation ceremony of ‘Women Entrepreneurs in Ukraine Course’ took place at the Embassy of the Netherlands in Ukraine. Participants presented their projects and shared their transformational experience and insights during this acceleration course.

Now the delegates will present their products and services to build partnership and exchange experience for future alliances.
