Semi-Finalists:

Exum Instruments- (Denver, CO) Exum builds instruments and software ecosystems to increase the speed of development and discovery, offering easy access to high performance at a low cost. For years, cost and tool limitations have prohibited the adoption of mass spectrometry in many commercial applications. Their first product, the Massbox, is revolutionizing materials characterization for a variety of industries.

Hire Henry- (St. Louis, MO) The $100B landscaping industry is outdated for the modern worker; for this reason many landscaping companies are unable to get the required labor to grow and scale their business. They solve this problem by providing landscaping companies with heavy duty robotic mowers.

JUMPWatts- (Los Angeles, CA) Shared scooter industry is plagued by parking compliance issues as well as high logistics cost that hinders profitability. They have created a hardware system priced at $150 that enables monitoring and repositioning of these vehicles by a remote human operator.

Mach9 Robotics- (Pittsburgh, PA) Mach9 Robotics is developing a mobile mapping platform, similar to Google Street View, for subsurface utilities.

Parrots, Inc.- (Seattle, WA) Parrots Inc. has built “Polly” which is an inclusive platform using AI and ML to give a smart voice and telecare to people with neurological disorders. Their solutions empower them with real-time communication, control their environments, and provide telecare services to improve patient-centered care and maximize independence.

Rightbot- (Bangalore, India) Rightbot builds plug & play robotic solutions for warehouse fulfilment. Their solution automates the complete inventory operations in a matter of weeks, while ensuring 8-10x higher throughput vs. manual operations, reduced picking errors, deployment in operational warehouses and minimum capex.
