Following a successful and inspiring collaboration during Rotterdam Capital Days 2019, Venture Café and FunX Media are teaming up again!

During three Venture Café Thursday Gatherings in August 2020, FunX Media will host an "Ask Me Anything" event. Every week, a different entrepreneur joins in to share the real story behind the success of his or her business. The good, the bad and the ugly. You can ask them anything, so grab your chance!

• 6-August: Margaret West, Designer & Founder van Margaret West, Ginza & Nishi‚Äã
  Margaret is originally a stylist and a Rotterdam based entrepreneur. She once had an internship at Sex and the City in New York. Nowadays, she runs three things; Ginza, Margaret West, and her fashion label, which is also called Margaret West. Besides that, she recently has opened the very first Japanese concept store in Rotterdam: Nishi. The store is candy pink and sells everything that has to do with Japan!
• 13-August: Norma Gogar, Co-founder Hart voor de stad

  Everything that Norma undertakes comes from passion and happiness. She is since 2019 co-founder of Hart voor de Stad. Rotterdam's first crowdfunding platform.

  In September 2020, the platform will go live. All the citizens of Rotterdammer, with a good initiative for the city, will get a fair chance through crowdfunding, knowledge sharing, and collaboration. Humans of Rotterdam can motivate and inspire each other to take action on their dreams and goals.

  As a counselor and Advanced Meditation Instructor at Deepak Chopra Center in California, she supervises corporations, elite athletes, and artists with tailor-made programs in mental health and various forms of meditation.

• 20-August: Aminanta Minte is a journalist and producer but above all a media maker.
  She is an expert on memes and pop culture and has made it her life mission to give bicultural women space in the Dutch media landscape. In 2018 she founded Alien Mag, an online platform that focuses on self-acceptance and pushes female talent.

FunX Media's Host & Moderator: Ciana Mayam

Ask Me Anything is hosted by Ciana Mayam. Ciana's first time on stage was when she was just five years old. From that moment, she was sold. After her HAVO, she went to Amsterdam to study; Media, Information and, Communication at the Hogeschool van
Amsterdam. Where she was studying to become a 360 media creator.
But soon, she comes to the realization that her heart lies in presenting.

Ciana Mayam can be seen online as a presenter in the talk show Spot On of the KRO-NCRV, het EET team from the Netherlands Nutrition Center, and vlogs for Holland2Stay home rental.
