80% of young men and woman do not dare to talk to their doctor about sexuality, contraception, pregnancy and STDs. "Love Control" is a special educational program to discuss the sexual health of young people between the age of 16-24 to prevent unwanted pregnancies and STDs. The question addressed during this session: in what way can we ensure that Love Control lessons are taught at all mbo-schools in the Netherlands and how can we make that financially feasible? ‘Social Obstetrics’, a movement to increase collaboration across medical care and social fields, and thereby addressing the (psycho)social and environmental needs of vulnerable families with the potential to reduce (perinatal) health inequalities. We should strive for care innovation to involve programs which integrate pregnancy-related care with public health initiatives and youth care particularly in the more disadvantaged sectors of our communities.
