Break Out: Talent, Recruitment and Social Media by former LinkedIn employee Leslie Peuler

September 20, 2018, 17:30 - 18:30

Where should I apply once I graduate? Where is the best place for me to find a job? Which are the key companies I should target? Where can I find that special Talent? How should I approach this person?
The current job market and the interaction between companies and talents has massively shifted over the years. Companies have to become more and more creative in attracting talents, being an inspiring brand, a new image and not simply advertising a good old role in the newspaper or job portals.
Talents on the other hand have to promote themselves in new innovative ways via videos, original content and trendy CVs.
LinkedIn had revolutionized the way we connect and interact with each other on a professional and somehow personal front. By connecting individuals to opportunity, we cannot deny our reliance on Social Media.
This session/workshop will cover the multiple options available to you by using social media for recruitment and as a talent.
From a deep-dive onto LinkedIn profiles for candidates and companies… to the use of Instagram, Snapchat and other platform… Better get ready to change your ways & revolutionize the job market!

Looking through my career, one common ground has always been building relationship and engaging with people. From the Tourism Industry to Sales and Recruitment, I have always chosen a path offering real human interactions. Communication, collaboration and determination are key drivers in my personal and professional life.
I thrive when enabling changes and progress in a company, for clients or myself.
I am fortunate enough in my life to have been given the opportunity to absorb an array of cultures from living and working in the USA, the UK to Ireland and now the Netherlands.
