Break Out: Should YOU be an entrepreneur? The Truth About Entrepreneurship (part of Venture School track)- Tony de Bree

July 2, 18:30 - 19:30

In this session you will discover if you have what it takes to start your company during the
current Covid-19 crisis and if you have the right ‘survival skills’ to survive. Tony de Bree will also give you practical tips on how to make money online & offline.

Many people want to follow their passion and are dreaming about how to make money with
their great ideas and change the world. The truth is that most of the startups that are
founded since 1997 never made it. Many of them did not even survive the first year. On top
of that, right from the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, it has become clear that starting a
successful business is one thing but preventing it from going bankrupt is something else all
together.

In this interactive session Tony de Bree will share his hands-on experiences with successful and failing founders of high-tech and impact startups since 1997, with 10.000+ independent
online entrepreneurs globally since 2001 when he started to make money online next to his
day job at ABN Amro Bank and with all the companies large and small that he is helping
since the beginning of the crisis to make a survival plan and fast.

The truth is that many entrepreneurs have the right skills to get their company of the
ground when there is a lot of inexpensive external financing available, but being able to
weather a storm like this one, requires different survival skills all together.
He will also give you a number of practical tips on how you can find out if you have the right
skills to start a company during this crisis and make sure it survives the crisis using a flexible
startup business and revenue model with multiple online income streams.
