June 22, 2020

Summer School 2020

COVID-19 hit the world hard. Following the pandemic and the social distancing measures that were taken by governments worldwide, our economy is bound to change. Recent projections by DNB show us that we may expect over 700.000 Dutch citizens to lose their jobs in 2021. This crisis will impact our lives severely, and creates uncertainty about the future for many of us.
There may already or may not yet be an urgency for you to prepare for this new economy by rethinking your career opportunities, but either way the time to get ready for it is NOW!
Therefore during the summer period in July and August, Venture Café Rotterdam will be offering a 9-week summer school program consisting of two tracks:

  • Track #1: “Venture School”, to build a venture during summer from A-Z, and
  • Track #2 “Reinvent Yourself”, to discover your why and rethink your career options to get prepared for a (post-)corona economy

Most of these sessions will be offered online. Since the RIVM guidelines are loosening slightly, we will be able to host one session per week physically at our Venture Café space as of July 1st. Limited spots available! Sign up info will follow. We look forward to welcoming you back at our home base!
During summer take the time to upgrade your skills and competences! Venture Café partners with various organisations to bring you an entrepreneurial school that will allow you to build and/or take the next step with your business, upgrade your 21st century skills and get you inspired about the latest innovations and developments.
